Colby Keefe, President

Colby received her undergraduate degree from Flagler College in 2012 and went on to earn her J.D. from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2016. She is an associate with the lawfirm of McCabe & Ronsman, representing homeowners and condominium associations as general counsel.

In addition to serving on the St. Johns Association for Women Lawyers Board of Directors, Colby serves as a Board Member of Investing in Kids! (formerly known as the St. Johns County Public Education Foundation) and is a member of the St. Johns County Bar Association. She is a first-generation attorney, and aspires to be a relatable, accessible, and trustworthy member of the legal community.

Julie Ickes, Chapter Representative

Julie helps people with their estate planning needs including establishing trusts, wills, and advance directives such as powers of attorney. Julie also focuses her practice on probate and trust administration, guardianships, elder law, and tax law. She believes in listening to each clients needs to create an individualized plan and hopes to provide as much clarity and peace of mind as possible to her clients.

Julie is originally from rural Ohio and her family members still work on the family farm. She attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and majored in economics. Later, she attended the University of Florida for law school, where she obtained her law degree and LL.M. in Taxation. She speaks French and basic German. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, exploring other cultures, and anything creative.

Nina LaFleur, Treasurer

Owner of the LaFleur Law Firm: Nina Lafleur has a solid reputation among her fellow bankruptcy lawyers. Erin Rohan Smith, Events Coordinator

Erin received her education from Flagler College (B.A., 2005) and Florida Coastal School of Law (J.D., 2007). Erin became board certified by the Florida Bar in 2017 in the area of Construction Law. There are only 385 attorneys, approximately 60 of whom are women, who have achieved board certification in Construction Law, which is the Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of an attorney’s experience and competence in that practice area.

In 2018 Erin was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in the area of Construction Law. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to 5 percent of the lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to Rising Stars. Erin maintains professional associations and membership with The Florida Bar (2008-present), the Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Real Property Probate & Trust Law section of the Florida Bar, the St. Johns County Bar Association and the St. Johns Association for Women Lawyers.

Erin Bowden, Membership Director

Erin has been with the Law Office of Suzanne W. Green, P.A. since 2016, and has knowledge and experience handling divorce, alimony, timesharing, child support, paternity, and estate and trust planning and administration. She received her undergraduate degree from The Florida State University and her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.
